What if I have questions or need help?

We will always be there to provide support, not only while you are creating your platform but also afterwards when you are live! You can contact the Hatch Team via phone and email, or through our Support Desk. We will also give you access to all our client resources such as manuals, video tutorials, the Hatch Knowledge Base and more.

Is SEO management integrated?

Hatch has integrated tools that allow you to optimize your SEO by configuring your marketplace’s metadata and the slugs of your main pages, among others. You are responsible for any specific SEO campaigns but if you have any questions, the Hatch Team can help guide you through this process.

Is there a user or transaction limit?

No, there is no limit on the number of users or transactions, nor on the business volume of your marketplace. Our cloud architecture is scalable to your business and we will never hold you back.

Can my marketplace accept payments from any country?

Payments can be done from any of the Stripe supported countries :

What happens if users are in different time zones?

No problem, Hatch perfectly manages user time zones to ensure everyone understands when the service will be rendered.

Can I have different currencies in my platform?

Yes, with Hatch your platform can be multi currency so your users can choose how they want to display prices.

Can I have different languages in my platform?

Yes, Hatch has multilingual capabilities for both the front end of your marketplace and your administrator back office.
Admin generated content (categories, attributes, internal pages, etc.) is translated by the administrator. User generated content (listing’s title, description, user presentation, etc.) will be automatically translated to the platform’s other languages. Users can modify these translations or manually enter their own if they prefer.

Which payment gateway does Hatch use?

Hatch works with Stripe Connect, which directly manages all transactions made on your marketplace. Hatch will never take commissions on any transactions but Stripe fees will apply. As per their website, the current pay-as-you-go pricing is:

1.4% + 0.25 € for European cards
2.9% + 0.25 € for non-European cards

Who creates my marketplace’s content?

You are responsible for creating your marketplace’s content, such as its internal pages (Terms & Conditions, Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, etc.). Yet, we can provide you with some examples that will guide you through this process, as we will support you both while you are creating your platform and while you are managing it after it is live.

How is hosting managed?

Hatch takes care of your marketplace’s hosting using Amazon Web Services cloud hosting. Among other benefits, this solution allows us to use your platform’s location to minimize latency and improve overall UX.

Who owns the source code?

Hatch is a proprietary solution so you do not have access to the source code. However, you do own all of your marketplace’s content and data. Within your back office you can find tools to export your users / listings / transactions data whenever you need to. Even if you later on decide to move to a custom platform, you will be able to build it with the same technology - Cocorico - which would allow for full database compatibility.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes, you can use your own domain name from day 1, even during your trial period. If you do not own one, we can provide a hatch.li domain name for you.

What does the free trial include?

If you want to learn more about Hatch, try it! The free trial allows you to test all features during 2 weeks and you can cancel at any point. We will provide you with a real platform and then onboard you so you can work on it without any limitations. If you decide to stay with Hatch after your trial, you will be able to keep this platform and push it to live when you are ready.
